Our Teaching Staff
Our teaching staff is on-site from 7:00AM to 6:00PM
| Mrs. Bridgwaters | Mrs. Bridgwaters has been a Sydenstricker School family member for 16 years. She is a past Parent, Volunteer, Teacher and Director with the school. She served 4 years in the Air Force, married over 20 years to Rick Brown and has two sons. Teaching children of all ages from the classroom to the football field as a coach is an honor of hers. Her education is in Radio and Television from Indiana University. |
| Ms. Thoet is a George Mason University graduate and lead teacher qualified. Throughout her high school and college career Katie assisted her mother in a four year old classroom. Following her graduation from GMU, she was an office manager at a SAT/ACT prepcourse and tutoring company. Katie also has experience managing and running a summer camp environment. In her free time she loves to cook, play withher two dogs and cat, and run in local races. | Ms. Katie Thoet |
| Mrs. DeBus | Mrs. DeBus is one of our experienced four year old teachers. Makiko has a positive attitude and you will always see a smile on her face. |

| Ms. Eryn Gleason | Ms. Gleason is a graduate of Virginia Tech and holds a degree in Psychology with a focus in child psychology and development. After graduation, she continued her education studying Early Childhood Education. Eryn has over 10 years of experience working with children in a variety of capacities, including having taught in a Head Start program. She has a passion for teaching children to love learning and for helping them develop a sense of personal accomplishment in the classroom. |
| Mrs. Visted is a Kindergarten assistant. Sheri is married to Col. Bill Visted and they have two sons. In her free time, she enjoys walking her dogs,going to the gym, reading, and volunteering for her boy's activities. | Mrs. Sheri Visted |
| Mrs. Marina Dobson | Mrs. Dobson is a teaching assistant for one of our four year old classrooms. Marina has studied Early Childhood Education at NOVA and has a Masters Degree in Computer Science. Marina and her husband have an eight year old son. Marina has 2 cats and in her spare time likes to read, knit, crochet, ski and bake. |
| Ms. Ramos received her formal training from the University at Buffalo and the DMA Teacher Training School. She has been an educator for over fifteen years. In her spare time she teaches dance and gymnastics to all ages and levels. She is a member, choreographer and media relations manager for a local dance company called Mayzsoul. Ms. Ramos and her fiance David have a dog, two turtles and an amazon parrot. | Ms. Tyree Ramos |
