Our Teaching Staff
Our teaching staff is on-site from 8:00AM to 5:00PM
| Mrs. Bridgwaters | Mrs. Bridgwaters has held all positions within Sydenstricker School at various times through the years. She is married, has two grown sons, and is an Air Force Veteran. Educating children of all ages from the classroom to the football field as a coach brings her great pride. Her education is in Radio and Television from Indiana University. |
| Mrs. Logan is a lead four year old classroom teacher. This is her second year at Sydenstricker School; having returned after a decade in the pet nutrition industry. Mrs. Logan has several years experience as a lead teacher in the fours program. She was formerly a teacher’s assistant and aftercare lead at our school. She has a true passion for education and is dedicated to instilling a love of learning to all in her care. Mrs. Logan enjoys spending time with her husband and their five pets in addition to volunteering in the pet rescue community. | Mrs. Logan |
| Mrs. Laychak | Mrs. Laychak is a lead teacher in our 3 year old program. She has a BS degree in Public Administration a minor in Computer Science and an AS degree in Business Administration. She is retired from her previous career as a Government Contractor and is married with 2 sons and 1 daughter. Her Sons have graduated from college and her daughter has just begun her college years. Mrs. Laychak is part of the leadership team for our school which allows her to tap into her endless source of energy. |
| Mrs. Moody is our kindergarten teacher who has her degree in Child Development (K-3), and is a part of the leadership team for our school. She is married and has two daughters. The eldest is a college student and her youngest keeps her busy with community activities. Mrs. Moody brings great energy and a zest to learn into her classroom. | Ms. Hogan | Ms. Hogan is a lead four year old classroom teacher. She has a young daughter who is the pride of her life. Ms. Hogan has taught pre-K for multiple years and is working towards her CDA. Her vast knowledge and care of this age group allows her to take her children beyond expectations. She is creative, fun and loves to cook. |
| Mrs. Joyner is a lead four year old classroom teacher. She has a BS degree in Psychology and has worked with children from early education to the 8th grade for 13 years. Mrs. Joyner brings positive energy, fun hands-on experiences, and plenty of laughter to the classroom. She is married with two daughters, and they are a proud military family. She recently moved to Virginia and is excited to provide your child with a loving and developmentally sound foundation for a lifetime of learning. | Mrs. Joyner |
