Our Teaching Staff
Our teaching staff is on-site from 7:00AM to 6:00PM


Mrs. BridgwatersMrs. Bridgwaters has held all positions within Sydenstricker School at various times through the years. She is married, has two grown sons, and is an Air Force Veteran. Educating children of all ages from the classroom to the football field as a coach brings her great pride. Her education is in Radio and Television from Indiana University.


Mrs. Shah is a Lead teacher for one of our four year old classrooms. She has a University education and has over 14 of years experience at Sydenstricker School. Mrs. Shah and her husband have a daughter and a son. She very dedicated to her craft of teaching.Mrs. Shah


Mrs. ByrdMrs. Byrd was born and raised in Alexandria and she resides in Springfield with her husband. Working with children as an Assistant Teacher is what she loves to do the most. Mrs. Byrd also enjoys traveling to the Florida Keys to kayak and photograph Florida's wildlife.


Ms. Dillon is a Lead teacher in one of our 3 year old classrooms. She has held multiple positions at Sydenstricker School, and is working towards her degree in Psychology (Child Development). The children in her classroom always have fun learning and exploring new things. She enjoys spending her free time volunteering within the community.Ms. Dillon


Mrs. PhillipsMrs. Phillips is a Lead four year old teacher. Her husband is in the Air Force and she has two sons who keep her involved in their school activities. Mrs. Phillips has her degree in Social Work and is a certified teacher (Pre-K- 6th). She has a fun loving attitude and really enjoys the creative aspects of teaching.


Mrs. Moody is our kindergarten teacher who has her degree in Child Development (K-3). She is married and has two daughters. Mrs. Moody assists as an administrator when needed. She is also busy supporting her youngest in activities, while her eldest is off to college. Mrs. Moody brings great energy and a zest to learn to her classroom.Mrs. Moody


Ms. HoganMs. Hogan is a lead three year old classroom teacher. She has a young daughter who is the pride of her life. Ms. Hogan has taught pre-K for multiple years and is working towards her CDA. Her vast knowledge and care of this age group allows her to take her children beyond expectations. She is creative, fun and loves to cook.
